Galway Shopping Centre Hosts a College Party
Back to School is over, but that doesn’t mean teens and college students are gone from the mall. Galway Shopping Centre reminded students just how welcome they were last week with its College Pizza Party.
There’s an easy formula for keeping college students happy: free food, great music, and big discounts. Galway covered all its bases with this event. Retailers offered special student discounts just for the day, and Papa John’s Pizza sponsored free slices for everyone. A local radio station was on hand with great tunes and spot prizes throughout the day. And students had the chance to win big: by guessing the number of balls in the center’s ball pit, they’d be entered to win tickets and accommodations for themselves and 10 friends to go see indie rock band Arcade Fire at the O2 Dublin.
What a lovely way to remind students that Galway Shopping Centre still cares.
