Look to the future at Fusion
Hopefully your application for the Maxi Awards is in. The application deadline has passed, and we’re looking forward to seeing who takes home the honors at the awards ceremony on April 1st. And there’s still time to register for the 2009 Fusion conference.
If you want to be listed in the Meeting Attendee list, you must register by February 16. That’s only a few days away, so don’t forget. The final deadline for registration is March 16.
During the Fusion Conference, you can also take part in the Inspiration Team volunteer effort. The 2007 Passion Team volunteered for rebuilding efforts in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Inspiration Team will be coordinating with Hands On Miami. Volunteers will work directly with students from schools with many students from low-income families, providing mentorship for students who are interested in careers in the shopping center industry. The volunteers will also help students with beautification projects for their schools. During the conference, the Inspiration Team will be recognized for its contributions to the future of the shopping center industry.
This opportunity requires separate registration and a nominal fee, so don’t miss out. The registration deadline for the Inspiration Team is February 27, 2009.
