FROM THE CAPITAL OF CULTURE
St Johns and Clayton Square Shopping Centres are teaming up with Liverpool radio station Juice FM to encourage children to explore their musical creativity.
The 2008 Music Quest is seeking out ten great songs created by children from Liverpool primary schools. Children are being encouraged to write, produce and perform songs that express their feelings about living in the “Capital of Culture.”
The creators of the ten winning tracks will be invited to record their songs professionally. The tracks will be used to create a CD which schools will use to raise funds over the holidays. One of the lucky winning teams will also be invited to perform their track live, for an event for the Princes Foundation for Children and the Arts.
