Fresh Food for All
Fresh, local food sound good right now? If so, you’re not the only one. The Oracle’s Fresh Food Festival (on this week) is sure to get some attention from hungry locavores and budding gardeners and chefs.
The UK shopping center is taking its farmer’s market a step further with the festival. It features a four day market, cooking demos from celebrity chefs and chefs from The Oracle’s restaurants, and gardening workshops. There’s also live entertainment from a jazz band, musician, and the juggling Flair barmen.
There party will keep going into the evening, too, with cocktail-mixing demonstrations. The Oracle is also using this chance to promote its new restaurant, Las Iguanas, which will be offering up tasters of its cocktails. To sweeten the pot, the shopping center has thrown in a chance to win a Le Creuset cookware set. What a way to start the summer cooking season.
