It Feels Good to Give

1203feelsgoodAMP Capital Shopping Centres reminds shoppers why they should focus on Giving this holiday season: because it feels really good.

AMP had a survey conducted on the subject of giving, and the results had a few key findings:

  • More than 45% of Australians say that giving a gift to someone they love makes them feel happy
  • 26% say they are excited
  • 20% say it makes them feel generous
  • Only 5% say giving makes them feel like they are out of pocket

With that in mind, AMP shopping centers are reminding shoppers that it Feels Good to Give.  The shopping centers are giving back to the community, with 15,000 cards designed by local students going to raise money for the CREATE foundation and for local schools. CREATE will also benefit from Santa photos and gift-wrapping at the malls.

And AMP is giving back to shoppers, too. The survey showed that 87% of Australians feel really good when they receive unexpected gifts, so one lucky shopper will win the services of a Domestic Angel for one year. That angel will come to the winner’s home and do whatever chores need doing for the year. Other shoppers will be the recipients of random acts of kindness from the centers’ Christmas Angels, who will be giving away little treats throughout the holidays.
