CrossIron Mills Throws a Good Ol’ Fashioned Shopping Spree
We throw around the term “shopping spree” pretty loosely these days, usually meaning a gift card prize or a trip with a personal shopper. But if you grew up with Supermarket Sweep or similar shows, you probably get a bit of a thrill from the idea of a big ol’ fashioned shopping spree, complete with outrageously overindulgent displays of consumerism.
CrossIron Mills is going to give one extremely lucky shopper the chance to live that dream this summer with it’s 20G for Me in 90.3 competition. Yeah, that’s 20 grand, aka $20,000. It’s a contest organized by the center and Amp Radio (90.3 FM, of course), using a traditional call-in-to-win format.
One lucky person will enter online or at customer service, hear his or her name called on the radio and successfully call in first, winning the big prize. That prize? $20,000 and 90.3 minutes to spend it in. The stakes aren’t all that high—there’s no competition to the spree, just a time limited spending extravaganza, but man, that’s the stuff that dreams are made of.
