Coquitlam Centre Spreads Holiday Cheer
Christmas is getting disturbingly close, and we wouldn’t be surprised if your holiday cheer was being stretched to its limit at the moment. Maybe it’s time to enlist your shoppers to help.
Coquitlam Centre knows the score. It’s asked shoppers to contribute a little holiday cheer of their own. Shoppers who share an Instagram shot of something holidaylicious on the center’s Facebook page or on Twitter using the hashtag #CQCHolidayCheer are having their photos gathered up into a Pinterest board. One randomly selected entry will win a $100 center gift card.
In the grand old tradition of paying it forward, the center has also spread some holiday love around. Each day on the center’s Facebook page, one hint is given. Combined, those hints lead shoppers to a hidden Holiday Heart tucked away somewhere in the center. Each time one is found, the lucky shopper can turn it in for a $50 gift card and $50 to his or her charity of choice. Then the process starts over. It’s a little like finding something magical under the Christmas tree, but without any help from Santa required.
