Coquitlam Centre Sells Shoppers on a Sale
A January sale is nothing get excited about. It’s just the post-Christmas stock cleanup, and there’s probably not much more to it.
Or so goes the accepted wisdom. Coquitlam Centre clearly doesn’t agree, because it’s going all out to make sure its Best Dressed For Less mall-wide sale is taken seriously. This week, fashion stylist Catherine Dunwoody takes the suburban center’s “mobile mannequins” team downtown to show off styles from center retailers. While visiting urban hubs, she’ll put together affordable outfits at particular price points to show prospective shoppers how Coquitlam Centre can help them dress for less.
To get shoppers across town and into their mall, the models will also give away vouchers for $10 gift cards that can be redeemed at the center next Saturday, on the last day of the sale. Anyone who redeems the voucher will be entered to win one of five $100 gift cards, on top of the $10 giveaway.
Regular shoppers won’t be left out. On the 15th, the center will hold a mobile mannequins strolling fashion show throughout the center. The gift card vouchers will also be given away to shoppers during the show.
