Coquitlam Centre Celebrates Fauxlebrities
There are (lookalike) celebrities at Coquitlam Centre, and shoppers are on the prowl for them. The center’s Fame and Fashion contest gives them the chance to win instant prizes like store gift cards and weekly prizes including iPhones, iPads and iTunes cards.
To win, shoppers need to be detectives. The center marketing team has been posting clues on Twitter and Facebook every day during the promotion. The clues points to the date, time, and location of the fauxlebrity sighting.
The clues are fun, things like “Their name has seven sevens in it” and “It’s not an avenue or a road, it’s not above the waist, and it’s not just on the 26th, it starts at ‘more’ o’clock and is done by “‘alive.'” Shoppers might need to compile several to work out the answer, but if they pick the right date, time and store, they’ll spot their target in the flesh.
If they do, all they have to do is text the center the store name and the name of the celebrity. The first 20 win daily prizes, and winners are entered for the big prize.
