Clay Terrace and Watters Creek Go Green for St. Patrick’s Day

Will you celebrate all things green on March 17? Watters Creek and Clay Terrace will both share a little luck of the Irish with their shoppers for St. Patrick’s Day.

Clay Terrace will host its second annual St. Patrick’s Day Scavenger Hunt. Each day, the center will hide one gold coin someone on its premises. Then its marketing team will take to Facebook and Twitter to share clues to lead shoppers to the right spot.

Customers who find a coin will be treated to free dinner and entertainment on the 17th, and they’ll also get fabulous prizes from a center restaurant or retailer. Talk about lucky.

Meanwhile, Watters Creek will “go green,” in a way, for the holiday: staff are dyeing the creek that runs through the center a stunning emerald green. The dye isn’t only green, it’s also green: the safe, non-toxic ingredients will biodegrade naturally, gradually turning the water to its original color within a week with no harmful effect on wildlife.

The center will also hold a day of celebration on the 17th, with live music all afternoon and evening, and Irish-themed educational events and activities for the youngsters.
