Going to the Chapel…
Lake Elsinore Outlets has given one lucky couple their Dream Wedding. Or, at least, it’s given them a dream wedding democratically selected by its shoppers.
Kristina Barker and Mikhael Rosenberg were married at the mall last week. They were chosen as the lucky winners earlier this year after submitting a video entry, photo and application.
Kristina and Mikhael were also spared some of the difficult decisions in the wedding planning process. Each week, shoppers at Lake Elsinore Outlets were give then chance to vote on one important detail of the wedding – including the ring, the gown, the color of the tuxes, the bridesmaid dresses, and the food. Shoppers who voted were entered to win a $500 shopping spree as well.
The wedding giveaway was sponsored by shopping center retailers and a local radio station, who also provided the couple with a Hawaiian honeymoon.
In other wedding news, Kingdom Shopping Centre (who held a mall wedding we covered earlier this year) had staff and volunteers spend Halloween as a spooky wedding party. Look for more information on their Halloween fun in the upcoming issue of Marketing Trendz.
