Chadstone Shoppers Feel Extra Beautiful This Month
Far too often, marketing beauty means making women feel insecure. Advertisements do it, magazines do it, television does it—because it works.
Nonetheless, we like to see a different approach, and Priceline and Pacific Magazines are all over that. They’re hitting the road to visit Australian malls for their I Feel Beautiful campaign.
(Isn’t the wording of that lovely? Feeling beautiful doesn’t alway follow looking beautiful, but it’s arguably much more valuable.)
On March 17, they’ll arrive at Chadstone Shopping Centre for a Health and Beauty Retreat. Magazine editors will be giving presentations on beauty (without and within), and shoppers will feel particularly beautiful after indulging in free mini-makeovers, manicures, health checks, and massages. To carry the message home, they’ll also receive goody bags valued at up to $100.
The duo are also holding a world record attempt for the biggest breakfast in bed at Martin Place on Friday with a free healthy breakfast for all participants.
In a Q&A with campaign spokesperson, Ada Nicodemou, the questions focus on physical and emotional health. The star of Home and Away goes into the things she does to unwind, the music she listens to and books she enjoys, the ways she stays healthy (not thin, specifically), and her beauty tips for healthy hair and skin.
