Celebrating Culture
Lougheed Town Centre is taking 2009 to celebrate cultures from around the world.
The Canadian shopping center is holding its second cultural festival this Saturday with its Latin Fiesta. During the opening ceremonies of the festival, local government representatives will unveil a display panel filled with information on Latin American festivals and their celebrations and traditions.
Of course, no Fiesta would be complete without music and dance. The Latin Fiesta will also feature a Mariachi band, Flamenco dancers, a traditional costume show, and crafts for kids. We’re looking forward to seeing what the shopping centre has in store for the rest of its cultural festivals this year.
