CBL Saves Soles for Earth Day
Soles4Souls has done great work with both shopping centers and retailers in the past, so we’re happy to hear that it’s found a great partner to team up with for Earth Day.
The non-profit collects gently worn shoes for those in need, helping people around the world and keeping thousands of pairs of shoes out of landfills. And as of last week, it’s making it easier for shoppers at CBL shopping centers to buy new shoes guilt-free.
Soles4Souls bins will be located at 88 shopping centers owned and operated by CBL properties as part of the company’s Earth Day drive. The campaign ends on the big day itself, when all the shoes (the goal is 150,000 pairs) will be sent along to CoolSprings Galleria, where they’ll be showcased in the center’s big Earth Day event. Many of the shopping centers will also be offering special discounts to donors at shoe retailers, keeping the circle of shoe-life going.
