Casuarina Square Celebrates National Volunteer Week
Casuarina Square wants to say thank you to local volunteers as part of National Volunteer Week in Australia (May 10-16).
For the past few weeks, the shopping center has been looking for nominations for outstanding volunteers. They’ve asked shoppers to nominate people who offer their time and make contributions to local sports, care and welfare organizations, schools and churches, service clubs or the environment.
The shopping center is looking through the nominations now, trying to find the three best area volunteers. Those chosen will win a Casuarina Square Volunteer Recognition Award, and will take home $200 gift cards for themselves, and $200 donations for the organization where they volunteer their time.
The awards are organized by GPT, who manage Casurina Square. GPT also uses the opportunity to recognize those who volunteer their time within the company.
