Castle Towers Holds Australia Day for the Youngsters

National holidays can be a bit dicey when it comes to shopping center participation. Too often it’s a question of whether to open or not, if opening is even permitted. Castle Towers, however, has had both the foresight and good fortune to be heavily involved in the Australia Day celebrations in the Hills district of Sydney.

In conjunction with the district’s main events, which include free rides, live music, food stalls and fireworks, the center will hold the early portion of the day’s festivities. It all begins with an official Flag Raising Ceremony outside the center’s Piazza.

Following the flag raising, the center is putting on a selection of great activities for the little ones. Towers Ted, the center’s kid club mascot will hang out and play. Community acts, including an emergency services expo and performances from local dance groups will take everyone through to the afternoon. And Nick Jr will present its ‘Wow Wow Wubbzy’ Live Show, followed by a meet and greet with Wubbzy for the youngsters.

What a great way to take part in the festivities despite the limitations of holiday hours.
