Canadians Ride for Kids’ Cancer Research
36 cyclists are currently traveling the full breadth of mainland Canada on behalf of pediatric oncology.
The 7000km Sears National Kids Cancer Ride has been organized by Sears Canada. The cyclists are traveling through many major Canadian cities and are stopping in at Sears locations at malls across the country. Last year’s ride raised over 1.1 million for children’s cancer research, and hopefully this year’s will do even better.
The ride encourages others to get involved, too. At each town, local cyclists are encouraged to ride along for their local leg of the journey. And those interested can follow the ride from the Facebook page of Sears’ mascot, Ben.
