Brentwood Town Centre Brings in The Claw
A big Happy Birthday to Brentwood Town Centre, which is celebrating its 50th this year. For this golden anniversary, the center is expecting lots of presents…but it’s giving them all away to shoppers.
To celebrate, the center is bringing in The Claw. That sounds a little ominous, but it’s actually a digital take on the classic claw machine. Good thing its digital, because in the 500 prizes the center is giving away there are treats like home-style roasted turkey club sandwiches from a center eatery. It might get a little rank in a claw machine with stuff like that in there. And most claw machines can’t give away luggage sets or portable DVD players last we checked.
To play, shoppers can swing by the center and play on the kiosks placed around the center. Or they can like the center on Facebook and play an online version of the game. It’s actually a pretty good facsimile of the experience, regular failures and all.
Aside from winning prizes, shoppers will have plenty of other chances to celebrate with Brentwood this year. Next month the center is throwing itself a huge birthday bash and inviting all its shoppers to come in for prizes, live music and plenty of fun activities for all.
