Big Grins at Wintergarden

Wintergarden isn’t letting shoppers forget about it during its redevelopment. The April issue of Marketing Trendz covered the amazing lengths the Australian shopping center has gone to while promoting its growth. But just as a good redevelopment grows over time, so does a good redevelopment marketing campaign.

The newest addition is Wintergarden’s Grin to Win campaign. Happy shoppers have a chance to win a $500 gift card every day of the campaign, just by showing a little smile. The shopping center’s hoarding highlights spots shoppers can stand and show off their grins. Then they can upload the photo to Wintergarden’s Facebook group (‘liking’ the center in the process) and they’re entered to win.

The contest is getting a lot of response, and showing a lot of community love for Wintergarden even through its growing pains. The Grinner Winners get shown off in the group and the contest applications, giving the center a lot of smiling faces to share.
