Australia & New Zealand Shopping Center Marketing Awards Open

704sccaTake note: it’s time to enter the Australia & New Zealand Shopping Centre Marketing Awards, which is being organized by the Shopping Centre Council of Australia (SCCA) this year. And for the first time, you can enter online.

This is your chance to be recognized, and there are plenty of opportunities: five major marketing categories across three types of centers: Big Guns (GLA above 45,000 square meters), Little Guns (GLA below 45,000 square meters) and Multi-Center campaigns.

The categories include Community, Development/Redevelopment, Sales Promotion, Branding/Repositioning and Digital Initiative.

On top of that is the big one: the shopping centre marketing Campaign of the Year.

The entry period just began. Nominations close on August 16, 2013. They’ll be judged on a range of criteria, including objectives and strategies, implementation, creativity and results – ROI. Category winners will recieve a framed certificate of merit, and the organization that wins Campaign of the Year will be endowed with a $20,000 prize to acknowledge and reward those who helped make the campaign happen.

The awards will be presented at a gala dinner at Doltone House, Hyde Park, Sydney on October 31, 2013.
