Ards helps out local schools
Ards Shopping Centre completed its “Head-to-Head” contest this week, with the announcement of three winning schools. The eight-week competition encouraged shoppers to nominate the school of their choice to win a great selection of prizes. Victoria Primary School won £1000 worth of IT equipment, and Dundonald High School won £1000 in sports equipment.
The big winner was Regent House School. They picked up a state-of-the-art Fiat Ducato mini bus worth £30,000. The school was in dire need of a new bus, and lacked the budget to purchase one, so this win will make a great contribution to their students’ school lives.
The contest also drew in hundreds of students to shop and support their schools.
