ACT LOCALLY
Over the last three years, Belmont Forum’s Earthbeat Committee has headed an earth-friendly sustainability campaign. This month, the Western Australian shopping centre, along with a bevy of volunteers, has completed the final stage of its first major sustainability project at Redcliffe Park. Together, the volunteers have planted over 8000 seedlings in the park. This project will continue to benefit Belmont for years to come, enhancing local habitats, improving air quality and diminishing soil erosion.
The committee plans to continue its work throughout the City of Belmont in years to come.
