A Star-Studded Christmas at Lakeside and Westfield London
Star power is lighting up the Christmas season at some UK shopping centers. Celebrity news sites have been fluttering with excitement this week to report two star-studded events.
Westfield London brought in singer Rihanna to switch on its Christmas lights. The singer was joined by children from the Help A London Child charity as she launched the holiday season on stage before thousands of fans. She then preformed an exclusive set for 100 lucky fans.

Meanwhile, reality TV star Chantelle Houghton found herself in a very unique role as the fairy on top of Lakeside Shopping Centre’s 50 foot Christmas tree. Dressed as a fairy with a pink gown, wand and crown, she was lifted by wires atop the tree to launch the center’s Grotto Lotto, which gives shoppers a chance to win $1000 in shopping center gift cards every day.
