1 Utama Rings In the New Year
New Year’s Eve is just another day for most malls. But 1 Utama celebrated the New Year with its shoppers with the 1 Utama 2010 Countdown Concert.
Thousands of revelers showed up to party with a line up of fantastic Asian musicians, including Hong Kong pop idols Beyond. The shopping center partnered with a number of local businesses to give away free tickets. 1 Utama shoppers could pick up their tickets as a perk with any purchase, or with their loyalty program membership. Tickets were also given away to radio station listeners, hotel and karaoke bar visitors, and customers at several local shops.
To finish off the concert and ring in the New Year, the celebration climaxed with an international musical fireworks display.
