On the Move: Susan E. Houck
General Growth Properties has brought on of its own into a new role: Susan E. Houck has been named Senior Vice President of Marketing. She’ll be spearheading integrated field marketing efforts, including advertising, public relations, strategic planning, community relations, and travel and tourism.
Previously, Houck was responsible for overseeing marketing efforts for the Southwest region of GGP. She spent 20 years with The Rouse Company leading up to its acquisition by GGP. With Rouse, Houck served in a variety of roles, as marketing manager for shopping centers all the way up to regional retail marketing manager overseeing properties in 15 states.
Houck earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. She also has the senior certified marketing director (SCMD) designation from ICSC and has been a featured speaker and panelist for a number of ICSC-sponsored seminars and events.
