On the Move: Nicole Arend and Shae Lea
It’s an exciting time for Citadel Outlets, as the center welcomes not one but two new professionals to its marketing team. Nicole Arend recently joined the team as Special Events & Marketing Manager and Shae Lea has come on as Electronic Media Manager.
“Nicole’s background in implementing high-profile events will point the way for Citadel Outlets as we continue to produce our popular celebrity-driven programs and events throughout the year, and Shae’s experience in fashion and media will offer a new playground for the LED programming, which is one of the essential ways we communicate to our shoppers,” says Traci Markel, marketing director for Citadel Outlets.
Arend and Lea are both relative newcomers to the industry, but they bring with them plenty of passion and fresh ideas. Arend has five years experience in retail marketing, in positions that include Marketing Coordinator at Westfield UTC and Marketing Director at Lake Elsinore Outlets.
Lea spent time at California State University, Northridge as a public relations major, and also held social media and PR positions at social media company This/Next and Luck Media & Marketing, an entertainment and lifestyle firm. For nearly two years, Lea was an Account Executive at Luck Media. In her new role as as Citadel Outlets’ Electronic Media Manager, Lea oversees all LED programming, advertising and scheduling.
