On the Move: Jo Prosser and Lee Power
Maynineteen, a Manchester based specialist shopping centre events and entertainment company, has just picked up a couple brand new team members: Jo Prosser, who has come on as Marketing Manager, and Lee Power, the company’s newest Production Technician.
Prosser is new to the shopping center biz, but she has 10 years experience in marketing and the stock photography industry. She launched two UK stock photography companies into the USA and Australian markets before joining Manchester agency Love as Project Manager in 2008. Prosser has worked directly with a powerful list of clients including Warburtons, BBC, EWA Architects, Carrier, D&AD, Microsoft, Pearson and McGrawHill.
“We delighted that Jo has agreed to join our team,” said Katie Coombes, Director at Maynineteen. “She will play an important role in developing and implementing our new business and digital strategies.”
Prosser is similarly pleased with her new role. “The relaxed professionalism of the team behind Maynineteen is what attracted me most to this position,” she said. “I’m really looking forward to the challenge of raising their profile and immersing myself in an interesting new business sector.”
Power, meanwhile, brings with him a history of animation for gaming companies such as Cubic Motion and Rockstar Games where he worked on titles like Grand Theft Auto IV and Kill Zone 2. He graduated with honours in 3D Character Animation & Special Effects from Staffordshire University in 2009.
Speaking about his new role, Power said, ““This new chapter in my career is really exciting, as it allows me to use the full range of my skills in a creative and challenging environment. I’m looking forward to being part of such a friendly and professional team.”
