On the Move: Christina Riojas
Galleria at Tyler has a brand new marketing manager, having welcomed Christina Riojas to their team this month.
Riojas will be diving right into marketing duties at the center, including the coordination and implementation of strategic advertising, public relations, budgeting, retailer relations and special events. This isn’t her first gig in shopping center marketing: most recently, she worked at Lake Elsinore Outlets as marketing director. While she was there, she had a successful $2 million L.E.D. billboard erected, and she was responsible for developing multiple signature events. Before that she was at The Mall of Victor Valley as marketing manager, heading up the grand unveiling of the center’s $11 million redevelopment project.
“Christina’s leadership in developing alliances and generating added value through community and charitable outreach programs will be an asset at Galleria at Tyler,” says Jim Harris, CSM, general manager, Galleria At Tyler. “Her customer service skills and qualities shine in her communication with our retailers.”
Riojas has been making waves in the marketing world since university, receiving the Marketing Excellence Award from the University of LaVerne while she worked toward her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration. She’s been recognized since by the American Marketing Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers (with a Silver MAXI Award for the Grand Opening of the new Cinemark Theatre), and she’s also been awarded by Macerich for Excellence in Public Relations and by the Southern California Marketing Director’s Association for the More For Your Munch campaign.
