Upcoming ICSC Award Deadlines
A couple major awards deadlines are just around the bend. If you’re interested in entering either the ICSC Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards or European Shopping Center Awards this year, take note: their deadlines are now less than a month away.
The European Shopping Centre Awards will be presented during the European Conference from April 2 – 4 in Istanbul, Turkey. The entry deadline is September 6. These awards focus on three types of centers with the New Development, Regeneration and Established Centre Awards.
Regeneration Award winners honor “the finalist that has best demonstrated how close cooperation with the local government and community can result in a regenerated and revitalised city centre.” The Established Centre award looks for those centers that, “based on economic impact, aesthetics, and ability to meet the needs of its investors and users, has had the greatest impact on its surrounding community.”

The Asia Pacific Shopping Center Awards have four major categories: Traditional Marketing, New Media, Design and Development, and Retail. The awards will be presented at RECon Asia at the China National Convention Center in Beijing, China, held December 2-4, 2013. The entry deadline is September 5, 2013, and you can learn more and enter here.
