Prepare Your Entry for the U.S. Shopping Center MAXI Awards

With the ICSC Fusion Conference coming up this spring, it’s time to get your entry in for the 2nd annual 2011 U.S. Shopping Center MAXI Awards. The deadline is January 27, so if you haven’t started preparing your entry, you’d best get moving.

For a quick recap, the U.S. MAXI Awards recognize your most innovative events and programs. If it brought value to your center, an event could be a contender. And winners of the MAXI awards are entered, along with other regional awards winners, into the global Best-of-the-Best VIVA program.

A few categories have changed this year. Advertising has become Traditional Media, which includes campaigns that primarily use traditional media forms like television, radio, newspaper and so on. Some digital media is allowed. Meanwhile, New Media is now Digital Media, and Category Integration is now Inter-Disciplinary Campaigns – campaigns which combine leasing, management, specialty leasing, design, development, operations and/or finance with marketing. There have also been minor changes to the Visual Merchandising category. Take a look at the Call for Entries for all the details.
