Last Chance to Enter the Effies

The 2011 North American Effie Awards hit their deadlines months ago, but Effie Worldwide is taking entries for two new categories. If you created marketing communications (from full campaigns to single contributions) in the US or Canada between Sept. 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010, you’re eligible to enter. But don’t miss your chance – the “on time” entry date has already passed, and if you don’t get your entry in by January 26th, you’ll be paying for a last chance opportunity until the final deadline of February 4th. So it’s time to get to work.

The two special categories that are still taking categories are Shopper Marketing and Single Impact Engagement. To enter the Shopper Marketing Category, you’ll need to present an integrated campaign specifically designed to guide a shopper in his or her purchasing process toward a desired end result. If your campaign met them at Point A and encouraged them directly to purchase B, this is the category for you.

The Single Impact Engagement category is for marketing ideas that put your brand in the spotlight for a brief but intense time. Have you had the insight and creativity to craft unexpected and unconventional moments for your brand? We’re talking flash mobs, stunts and and other one-time only tactics that generate real results.
