ICSC Announces Canadian Finalists


711canadianICSC has announced the finalists for this year’s Canadian Shopping Centre Awards, and it’s a great bunch—we’d like to congratulate all of you involved. Stay tuned to Tactics Magazine and Marketing Trendz for in-depth looks at many of the nominated and winning campaigns.

The winners will be announced at the awards presentation at the ICSC Canadian Convention at the Metro Convention Center in Toronto, Ontario on September 18, 2013.

Some of the campaigns that have already been featured either here in Shopping Center Weekly or in our print publications include Ottawa’s Greatest Mobile Photographer by Billings Bridge Centre, a finalist in the category of Social Media by Centres 150,000 to 400,000 square feet of total retail space. Are you a Speed Stylist, Hillcrest Mall’s early-to-market Vine promotion has also been selected as a finalist. Market Mall’s Spring Carnimal is a finalist in the category of Integrated Digital Campaign.

St. Laurent Centre’s Gatsby Salon may be familiar to our readers—it’s a finalist in the Public Relations category. Bentall Kennedy’s Fare Fight for Fight and Edmonton City Centre’s Let’s Make Ovarian Cancer Unignorable drew attention in the Cause-Related Marketing category. And Morguard’s ‘Getting Social with Morguard’ leasing initiative is a finalist in the Business-to-Business category.
