A Green Apple for Rochdale Exchange
Here’s some good green news. Rochdale Exchange Shopping Centre has recently learned that it is among the major winners in the Green Apple Environment Awards for their Car Park Energy Project. The shopping center managed to reduce the energy consumption of its Car Park by 50%.
The Green Apple Awards will be presented at the Tower of London in June. If Rochdale Exchange is among the top winners, it could represent the UK at the European Business Awards for the Environment.
Rochdale Exchange will also be invited to join the National Green Heroes. The Heroes are environmental achievers who have helped people and the environment around the world.
