Footprint Marketing Awards
The South African Council Shopping Centres held its Footprint Awards last week, and a lot of great campaigns were recognized.
One of the Gold Winners was Brightwater Commons. We’ve covered its ambitious Going Green campaign in the past, and it’s great to see them take home the prize. The program has so far included a carbon offsetting program, a water conservation program, a recycling program and competition, a community clean up event, and a community website for discussion about environmental issues.
The winners of the Footprints Awards will be eligible for the Overall Footprints Marketing Awards Winner at the Spectrum Awards in February 2010.
