Don’t Miss the Big Show

The National Retail Federation is celebrating 100 years of retail leadership at its upcoming annual convention and expo, and you can still be there to celebrate with them.

The 2011 Retail’s Big Show takes place from January 9-12, 2011 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. If you’re interested in going, act fast. The early rate deadline is October 15, and you can save up to $350 with an early registration, so decide quickly.

It looks like there’s a lot to participate in at this year’s event. For the first time, the convention will host the International Sustainable Retailing Symposium, a full day of programming on the topic of world-wide sustainability (with particular focus on sustainability practices and regulations in the US, Canada, Europe and South America). There are also over 60 sessions planned, including Super Sessions on the rise of the individual, the future of money, and the future of the retail industry. The EXPO Hall will be open through the 10th and 11th, filling 150,000 sq. ft. and featuring more than 500 vendors. And of course, there will be plenty of networking opportunities and sessions throughout.
