Congratulations, Footprint Winners!

The South African Council of Shopping Centres (SACSC) has announced this year’s Footprint Marketing Awards winners, and they are a deserving bunch.

The awards celebrate exceptional creative distinction and brilliances in the fields of the marketing industry. This year’s Gold award winners will move on to compete for the Spectrum Award for marketing, which will be awarded to the overall marketing winner on November 23rd.

The shopping centers that took home Gold Footprints include the following:

    • Canal Walk with Marketing Concepts for The Canal Walk Way in the category of Centre Productivity.
    • Sandton City with Marketing Concepts for its World Cup Soccer Promotion, in the category of Sales Promotions and Events.
    • Gateway Theatre of Shopping with Primedia Lifestyle Ltd. for World Cup 2010 in the category of Category Integration.
    • Cavendish Square with Primedia Lifestyle Ltd. for the Cavendish Square New Faces Search in the category of Sales Promotions and Events, and for Football, Fashion, Fine Art in the category of Public Relations.
    • Bushbuck Ridge Shopping Centre with Primedia Lifestyle Ltd. for the Hola Taxi Campaign, in the category of Community Relations.
    • Mimosa Mall with Unitel Marketing for Chocolat @ Mimosa Mall, in the category of Sales Promotion and Events.

Congratulations to all the marketers involved in these great campaigns, and to those who recieved Silver and Bronze awards as well.
