BCSC Gold Awards and More
We have two important pieces of BCSC news for you this week. The first one will take but a moment of your time: the organization wants to know if you, as someone interested in BCSC events, would be interested in attending the free Purple Apples Creative Workshop if it were held at the BCSC Annual Conference and Exhibition at the ACC Liverpool in September.
It should be a great opportunity to find out more about this year’s award winners, with insights that can help you with your future applications. All the BCSC needs is an expression of interest, so pop over to this survey and give them a simple yes or no.
Now for the big news: The BCSC Gold Awards are open for entries. The deadline for all applications is 5pm, August 10 2012.

To reflect the changing landscape and the challenging climate we have updated some of the awards and criteria for 2012, offering a range to suit a variety of sizes and markets. The BCSC Golds Jury welcomes entries for:
- New Centre
- Refurbishment and Extension
- Established Centre
- Innovative Working Practices
- Sustainability
- Shop Fit/ Design of the Year
The Jury may also consider other concepts, developments or individuals, so it’s worth entering even if you’re not sure your centre will be the perfect fit.
