ACE Awards Revamped, Open For Entries

If you’re with a British shopping center, you’ll want to take note: the BCSC ACE Awards are open for entries, and you have about a month to get those entries in.

There have been some big changes to the awards this year. They still recognize achievement in customer service, of course, but now they do so with improved criteria. This year’s awards program includes an updated and enhanced mystery shop audit, a new category for Retail and Shopping Parks, and a new ACE Star award that focuses on individual centre staff that excel in customer service interactions.

In the place of the usual launch presentation, BCSC will host a web presentation that should be more accessible to its audience.

This year’s mystery audit is far more focused on customer service than it has been in previous years, and staff interactions are limited more strictly by center size. The audit still looks at facilities, but concerns itself more with the behind-the-scenes work that affects the customer experience for those facilities.

All in all, it sounds like many great changes to an already effective awards program. If your interest has been piqued, you can learn more about the ACE Awards here. Be sure to pop by soon, the deadline for entry is April 30th.
