“I am sure if you have been in retail for half of the time that I have, you will be familiar with the old retail saying, “Stack them high and watch them fly.” There are a couple of different variations of this saying out there but they all mean the same thing… Make a statement and watch the merchandise sell!
Show your customer that you believe in your product with the use of mass and height to create an impactful display statement. More then ever before, how you display and merchandise your product is very, very important. The use of basic merchandising techniques like color blocking, pyramid stacking and repetitions will attract your customer’s eye and peak their interest. And once you have that it’s up to you to complete the sale.”
