    Ipsos Reid has just released the findinggs from its 2009 Digital Marketing Pulse Study. It underscores the importance of email:
    – 80% of Canadian consumers have signed up for an email promo at least once.
    – 84% of Canadians indicate that they are willing to receive information through email

    The majority of consumers have their email set to block visuals on initial opening. So, as pretty as the layout may be, and we all love great graphic presentation, the relevance of the subject line must be given priority in email campaigns
