Westfield’s Give Ability Raises Money for Disabled Children

Saturday, May 21 was the inaugural Give Ability Day at Westfield shopping centers across Australia. Staff at the center volunteered their time to work with local charity partners to raise money for causes that support children with disabilities and their families. Centers held events, raffles and fundraisers to get the community involved.

The Give Ability initiative is part of a larger charity effort, the Westfield Community Program. It’s been providing for these children and their families for over three years. Each Australian Westfield center partners with a local children’s disability service provider in its community. Through these charities, Westfield raises funds for therapy equipment, educational programs and early intervention.

Give Ability was a huge success, with centers bringing in more than $137,000 across Australia. 100% of donations went to support this great cause.
