Westfield Old Orchard Goes Bright Pink

919orchardOctober is just around the corner, which means it’s officially time to start thinking pink. Westfield Old Orchard is getting a slight head start with its Night Bright event on Saturday, September 28.

It’s going to be a big night. Hosted by E! News personality and breast cancer survivor Giuliana Rancic, the night benefits Bright Pink, a non-profit that supports breast and ovarian health in young women. It’s a big night for the center, too—the launch of its Fall Fashion season and the completion of its revitalization project. It’s also going to be very, very pink.

Shoppers are invited to wear their own pink outfits to show unity, and the center will be dressed up for the occasion. There will be a high-energy fashion show featuring the hottest looks from center retails and a live performance by dance-pop quintet G.R.L.

To raise money, the Westfield Old Orchard will host a silent auction. The night will also kick off sales of the Bright Pink Book, $5 booklets full of deals exclusive to center retailers benefitting Bright Pink.

Two women will also find their own lives made a little better when Giuliana Rancic grants them wishes through her Fab-U-Wish initiative. It provides women undergoing treatment for breast and ovarian cancer the chance to spend a day feeling fabulous while living out one of their dreams.

The event is a special first for Westfield Old Orchard as it marks the grand opening of The Cube, the center’s new one-of-a-kind glass pavilion.
