VILLAGE GREEN REACHES OUT
Cause Marketing: Cause Marketing is the art of combining your commercial brand with a non-profit issue. Cause marketing campaigns have years of history and range from relatively superficial tactical partnerships, to long-term, strategic alliances that penetrate deeply into business and nonprofit organizations.
Village Green Mall’s slogan is “Shopping for real people,” and this fall they’ll be giving shoppers an opportunity to shop for their community.
The British Columbia, CA, mall is offering local charities, non-profits and parent-school organizations the opportunity to sell tickets to a special evening of shopping filled with discounts, deals and prizes. Each charity that registers with Village Green will be given up to 100 tickets, worth five dollars each. The charities keep all the money they raise selling the tickets, and shoppers that purchase the tickets will get to enjoy a discounts from participating stores and entry into a draw for a $1000 shopping spree.
With Shop for Charity Night falling at the end of November, Village Green is also ensuring themselves a busy start to the holiday season. Sounds like a good deal all around, and its sure to help embed Village Green Mall as the heart of its community.
