UK malls help Children in Need

Cause Marketing: Cause Marketing is the art of combining your commercial brand with a non-profit issue. Cause marketing campaigns have years of history and range from relatively superficial tactical partnerships, to long-term, strategic alliances that penetrate deeply into business and nonprofit organizations.

This month, UK malls are helping to drum up support for Children in Need, the BBC’s children’s charity. Children in Need raises money for disadvantaged children in the UK. Half of the money that is raised by the initiative goes directly to helping children, while the other half goes to organizations that work with disadvantaged kids. The organizations supported by Children in Need work with children and youths that suffer from poverty, abuse, physical or mental disabilities, and psychological disorders.

A number of shopping centers in the UK are helping out, including Meadowhall in Sheffield, UK. The shopping centers are helping to raise funds for the charity, and are also seeking organizations that need help to help children.
