The Shoppes at Chino Hills Was In the Pink in April

It’s always great to hear about big successes for great causes. Last month, The Shoppes at Chino Hills held In the Pink, a fashion show that celebrated local breast cancer survivors and promoted the then upcoming Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. Over 800 people attended the show, which showed off spring fashions sytled by students of The Art Institute of California and modeled by breast cancer survivors.

“The Shoppes at Chino Hills was privileged to showcase and celebrate these women from our community who’ve battled breast cancer,” said director of marketing Sarah Corrigan. “Our retailers pulled out their newest and best fashions of the season to highlight these amazing ladies.”

The show went off without a hitch, with attendees having a great time and giving the models an enthusiastic standing ovation at the end of the event.

But there’s an even happier ending to this story: when The Shoppes hosted the American Cancer Society’s 3rd Annual Inland Empire Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Saturday, April 28, over 5000 walkers showed up to participate. When all was said and done, the event brought in over $60,000 for the cause, an impressive amount indeed.
