The Shoppes at Chino Hills Makes Strides Against Breast Cancer
Late last month, The Shoppes at Chino Hills took part in a great cause, the American Cancer Society’s 2nd annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. Over 3,500 Inland Empire residents participated in the walk on April 30. Together, they managed to raise nearly $50,000. The two-mile walk was held to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors.
The American Cancer Society uses the money raised at Making Strides events to fund lifesaving research, provide up-to-date breast cancer information, advocate for women to have access to breast cancer screening and treatments – regardless of income – and to provide services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
The goal of Making Strides is to create a world with less breast cancer and more birthdays – an idea that’s easy to support.
