St. Laurent Centre Knows What a Girl Wants
Next month, St. Laurent Centre will be participating in a glittering girl’s night out in support of the Canadian Liver Foundation: What a Girl Wants Ottawa.
Held at the gorgeous Fairmont Chateau Laurier, the evening is a glamorous night in celebration of all things ladies love. It begins with a Pink pre-dinner cocktail to the strains of local lounge singer Johnny Vegas, a great time for attendees to peruse the silent and live auction items available, like jewelry, art, spa packages and getaways.
Chateau Laurier Executive Chef Louis Simard will prepare an out of the box, bold-flavored dinner paired with the perfect wines. For those with a sweet tooth, dinner is followed by a beautifully decadent candy bar. For those whose taste for sweets run more to the ‘eye candy’ variety, some of Ottawa’s finest firefighters have signed on to serve dinner and delight guests.
After dinner, internationally acclaimed comedian and recent liver transplant recipient Mike MacDonald will warm the audience up for the highlight: high-energy runway fashion shows from St. Laurent Centre, featured alongside some of the country’s top designers.
