Cause Marketing: Cause Marketing is the art of combining your commercial brand with a non-profit issue. Cause marketing campaigns have years of history and range from relatively superficial tactical partnerships, to long-term, strategic alliances that penetrate deeply into business and nonprofit organizations.

Are you feeling up to an hour of spinning right now? How about ten?

Centurion Mall is preparing for its 2009 Super 10 Spinning Marathon. Over the course of 10 hours, participating individuals and teams will participate in 10 50-minute spin sessions. For a small entry fee, anyone can take part and get a chance at randomly drawn prizes from shopping center retailers. Or participants can take on the 400km challenge. Sponsored by the kilometer, individuals can commit to attempting to take on the full 10 sessions alone. Three participants have accepted the challenge so far, including one 72-year-old.

The South African mall is collecting proceeds for the Beeld Children’s Fund, a charity organization whose mission is to raise funds to help underprivileged, disabled and abused children, as well as children affected by HIV/AIDS.
