Shoppers Shave and Save for Cancer Cause

This weekend, shopping centers across South Africa are taking part in the CANSA (Cancer Association of South Africa) Shavathon.

For a minimum donation of R50 (R25 for kids under 12), volunteers at the center will shave heads or spray hair color for shoppers of all ages. Shoppers can pick the length of the shave or the colors to be sprayed – the important thing is donating and showing solidarity with cancer survivors. For those who are losing longer locks, ponytails can be donated as well.

Boost Juice Bar is getting in on the fun by offering a little incentive: shoppers who come in with shaved or sprayed heads get 5 Boost Bucks off their drinks. The colorful drinks will go well with the colorful looks for a fun day’s fundraising.
