Scottish Shoppers Get Big Laughs
Today is Global Belly Laugh Day. Given that we’re just a few days past Blue Monday, the most depressing day of the year according to some, a good belly laugh or two seems well in order.
Starcatchers, Suzanne Zeedyk Ltd. and Children in Scotland are working together to give shoppers at a few different centers a few big laughs. Visitors to St. James Shopping Centre might have a chance to help a few lost polar bears. At Wellgate Shopping Centre, there may be reason to break out in song. So it goes throughout the country, with mad, delightful things happening everywhere—just to inspire the joy of a good laugh in as many people as possible.
The Silly Moments are scheduled between 11am and 12pm, but the laughs are meant to last. The big day is about joy, yes, but laughter is also part of a healthy life. Sounds like a grand cause to us.
